Microsoft Philippines fully released Windows Phone 7 Series last Saturday, December 11, 2010, starting the quest to challenge arch-rivals Google (Android OS) and Apple (iOS) in the smartphone market. What remains to be seen is how all other compiler languages will distribute their support for these smartphone OS. Microsoft's very own Visual Studio will of course support their own, while Labview and others may want to consider other OS. Right now, Microsoft is leading on the Development partnership side as they have support for numerous language compilers already, and these include the two just mentioned. read more.
